Plan the right EV charger installation for your NSW property.
GRIDHUB checks phase supply, switchboard capacity, cable route, protection, parking, smart controls and future vehicles before confirming your EV charger installation.
Charging needs and electrical capacity must be assessed together.
The maximum advertised charger output is not always available at every property. GRIDHUB confirms the vehicle, supply and installation requirements before final quotation.
Convenient charging around your routine
- 7 kW single-phase charging
- 11 kW or 22 kW three-phase where supported
- Tethered or untethered chargers
- Scheduled and solar-aware charging
Build charging capacity without creating a new peak
- Workplace and destination AC charging
- Fleet charging requirements
- Dynamic load management
- Billing, access and staged expansion
Charge around solar, tariffs and the way you drive.
A compatible charger may follow surplus rooftop solar, charge during lower-cost periods or operate as part of a broader battery and energy-management system. The best strategy depends on vehicle limits, driving schedule, solar production, tariff and charger controls.
Commercial charging needs a real business case.
Vehicle dwell time, daily kilometres, fleet schedule, customer use, access control and site capacity determine the right mix of charger speed and quantity.
From vehicle requirement to installed system.
Vehicle
Connector, onboard limit, parking time, daily travel and future vehicles.
Electrical supply
Phase supply, main switch, switchboard space, existing loads and upgrades.
Cable route
Distance, access, mounting, exposure, trenching and parking arrangement.
Smart controls
Solar following, schedules, tariffs, battery interaction and monitoring.
Before you choose an EV charger.
How long does an EV take to charge at home?
Charging time depends on the vehicle, battery state, onboard charging limit and available charger output. A higher-rated charger does not increase speed if the vehicle or property cannot accept it.
Can every home install a 22 kW charger?
No. A 22 kW AC charger generally requires suitable three-phase supply and adequate available capacity. A site assessment is required.
Can I charge from my solar system?
Often, yes, when the charger and controls support solar-aware operation. Available solar generation, household load and vehicle availability determine how much charging can come directly from solar.
Is the online package price final?
Displayed packages are preliminary. Final installed price depends on address, switchboard, supply, cable route, protection, access and additional work identified during assessment.

Get the charger and installation scope right the first time.
Tell GRIDHUB about your vehicle, property and usual parking location. We will confirm what must be checked before recommending a package.
Important: Product availability, charging speed and installed price are subject to property assessment, equipment compatibility and final quotation. Electrical work must be performed by appropriately licensed persons.
